[03-15-2022] Woman and Child Killed After a Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Hayes and Roosevelt StreetsA woman and a child were killed in a deadly pedestrian crash on Hayes and Roosevelt Streets on Tuesday afternoon, March 15, 2022.

According to the initial reports from local authorities. The accident happened at around 3:50 p.m. on Hayes and Roosevelt Streets.

A westbound 2020 blue Range Rover was traveling on Hayes Street when it crashed into three pedestrians while turning onto Roosevelt Street.

The driver struck an adult woman and two minors. Unfortunately, the 58-year-old woman and a little boy were pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the young girl was rushed to an area hospital with minor injuries. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
