A person was assaulted in a Walmart parking lot and was taken to the hospital on Wednesday, March 16, 2022.

The assault occurred on a Wednesday afternoon in a Walmart parking lot in Madera.

According to the Madera Police Department, 19-year-old Ray Y. fled the scene of the assault but was quickly apprehended thanks to witnesses who helped identify him and the direction he fled to.
