[03-17-2022] Monterey County, CA – Bicycle Crash in Salinas Results in One Death

One unidentified person was killed after a deadly bicycle crash in Salinas on Thursday, March 17, 2022.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the crash took place on South Main Street and Plaza Circle.

An unspecified vehicle crashed into the bicycle rider under unclear circumstances. How the accident occurred and why it happened have not been established.

The bicycle rider was rushed to an area hospital with serious injuries later pronounced dead.

The driver remained at the scene and was cooperative with the authorities. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.
