[03-17-2022] Riverside County, CA – 88-Year-Old Man Killed in a Deadly Multi-Vehicle Crash in San Jacinto

An 88-year-old man identified as Francisco S. was killed following a deadly multi-vehicle collision in San Jacinto on Thursday evening, March 17, 2022.

[03-17-2022] Riverside County, CA - 88-Year-Old Man Killed in a Deadly Multi-Vehicle Crash in San JacintoThe fatal collision happened on the westbound lanes of Ramona Expressway in San Jacinto at approximately 6:20 a.m.

The 88-year-old man was driving a truck eastbound when he drifted onto the westbound lanes to avoid the stopped vehicles on the roadway.

The 88-year-old’s truck rear-ended a black Jeep Wrangler before colliding with a Nissan Frontier and a westbound white Jeep Wrangler.

The 88-year-old man and the driver of the white Wrangler had to be extricated from the wreckage. They were both transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Unfortunately, the 88-year-old man later succumbed to injuries and was pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported.
