[03-18-2023] Fatal Crash Between Two Vehicles Occurred in Manchester Square AreaA fatal car crash occurred in Manchester Square Area, South LA, early Saturday morning, March 18, 2023.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash happened around 1:00 a.m. between West Florence Avenue and South Gramercy Place.

A vehicle crossed the center line and crashed with another car, leaving both drivers trapped inside.

Authorities managed to free the two drivers, but one of them, a 42-year-old man, had already passed away. The other was severely injured and had to be rushed to a nearby hospital.

An investigation of the fatal crash is currently underway.
