One unidentified man was killed after a deadly pedestrian crash on Highway 180 on late Saturday night, March 19, 2022.
The fatal pedestrian crash occurred on Highway 180, east of James Avenue, at approximately 11:35 p.m.
The victim was walking on the road’s shoulder when suddenly struck by a westbound 2015 Hyundai Elantra.
The Hyundai driver remained at the scene and willingly cooperated with authorities. Unfortunately, the pedestrian could not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Hyundai driver was uninjured in the mishap. He was not under the influence at the time of the accident.
Local authorities are further investigating the cause of the crash.
