A male pedestrian was walking on Lonetree Boulevard near Adams Drive when he was struck, according to Rocklin police officials on social media.

According to police, the pedestrian died from his injuries at Sutter Roseville Medical Center.

The driver of the vehicle, according to police, is cooperating with investigators.

For several hours, the eastbound lanes of Lonetree Boulevard at Adams Drive were closed due to the accident.

The cause of the crash and details about the victims’ identities have yet to be disclosed.
