[03-20-2023] One Person Killed, Two Injured After Two-Vehicle Head-On Crash in BreaOne person was killed while two others were injured following a two-vehicle head-on collision in Brea on Monday night, March 20, 2023.

According to the Brea Police Department, the fatal crash occurred at about 8:01 p.m. on Carbon Canyon Road, just east of Olinda Village.

The responding officers and emergency personnel arrived at the scene and located the driver of one of the vehicles involved dead at the site.

The other vehicle’s driver and passenger were rushed to the hospital for sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. No updates on their conditions were available.

The circumstances that led to the crash remain under investigation. It is currently unknown whether intoxication or speeding played a role.
