[03-21-2022] Monterey County, CA - One Person Killed in a Deadly Salinas Motorcycle CrashOne unidentified person was killed after a deadly motorcycle accident in Salinas on Monday afternoon, March 21, 2022.

The fatal crash transpired at approximately 3:30 p.m. in the area of Blanco Road, near West Alisal Street in Salinas.

An eastbound van traveled on Blanco Road when it made an illegal U-turn directly in front of the motorcycle. The two vehicles then inevitably collided.

Unfortunately, the motorcycle rider was killed in the mishap. His identity has not been disclosed. No other injuries were reported.

It’s unclear whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
