[03-22-2023] Bicyclist Killed After Hit-and-Run Crash in PomonaOne bicyclist was killed after being hit by a vehicle that left the scene in Pomona on Wednesday morning, March 22, 2023.

The Pomona Police Department reported that the fatal hit-and-run crash occurred around 5:00 a.m. at Mission Boulevard and East End Avenue.

The bicyclist’s identity was not immediately determined, but the victim reportedly died at the crash site. The circumstances that led to the crash remain under investigation.

No known description of the vehicle that struck the victim and fled the scene is available. A detour was put in place for traffic while the investigation was done.

Police requested anyone with information about the case to contact them. The search for the driver continues.
