[03-22-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Five People Injured After Pursuit Ended in Crash near Exposition Park

At least five people were injured following a pursuit that ended in a crash near Exposition Park in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, March 22, 2023.

The Los Angeles Police Department reported that the crash involved at least two vehicles and overturned one at the intersection of S Western Avenue and W 39th Street.

Not much is known about how and where the pursuit started prior to the collision, but it involved the Manhattan Beach Police Department. At least three people were seen handcuffed at the back of a police cruiser. LAPD believed all suspects were captured.

Responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department rescued at least five people, but it’s unclear whether they were from the vehicle that flipped over. All victims reportedly sustained minor injuries.

No further information was immediately available as the authorities continued their investigation.
