[03-22-2023] One Person Killed, Two Others Injured in Temescal Valley Multi-Vehicle CrashOne person was killed and two others were injured following a multi-vehicle collision in Temescal Valley, Riverside County, on Wednesday morning, March 22, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash occurred just past midnight at around 12:11 a.m. on the northbound side of the 15 Freeway near the Indian Truck Trail.

Two vehicles reportedly collided for unknown reasons, causing one of the cars to roll over and land on its roof, pinning three other vehicles. The cause of the initial crash is still being investigated.

One individual sustained fatal wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two more people were transported to Indian Valley Hospital for unspecified injuries. No identities have been made public yet.

No additional information was immediately available as the investigation continued. Whether speeding or intoxication played a role remains to be seen.
