[03-22-2023] Two Injured After Two-Vehicle Crash Between Indian Wells and Palm DesertTwo people were sent to the hospital with injuries after a two-vehicle collision in Riverside County on Wednesday afternoon, March 22, 2023.

According to the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department, the crash occurred around 5:00 p.m. on Fred Waring Drive and Cook Street between Indian Wells and Palm Desert.

The responding firefighters arrived at the scene and located two unspecified vehicles involved in the crash. What exactly led to the collision is still being investigated.

One individual sustained moderate injuries, while another suffered minor wounds. Both unidentified victims were transported to a hospital in unknown conditions.

It is currently unknown whether speeding or intoxication played a role in the crash.
