[03-22-2023] Santa Clara County, CA – Pedestrian Severely Injured After Hit-and-Run Collision in San Jose

A pedestrian sustained severe injuries after a hit-and-run collision in San Jose on Wednesday evening, March 22, 2023.

San Jose Police Department reported that the crash happened around 6:30 p.m. between 10th Street and East Santa Clara Street.

The undisclosed pedestrian was severely injured and had to be rushed to a nearby hospital.

East Santa Clara Street was closed temporarily to all traffic between the 10th and 11th streets due to the accident.

No further information was released as investigations are currently underway.
