[03-22-2023] Woman Hospitalized After Pedestrian Collision in ReddingA pedestrian collision injured and hospitalized one woman in Redding early Wednesday morning, March 22, 2023.

Reports confirmed that the crash transpired around 12:45 a.m. at the intersection of Hartnell and Heather Avenue.

According to authorities, the female victim was immediately rushed to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle. She suffered possible broken bones but ultimately non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, it is unknown whether the woman was in a crosswalk.

The vehicle’s driver remained at the scene, and DUI does not appear to be a factor in the collision.
