[03-23-2022] Kern County, CA - Teen Injured After a Bicycle Crash in BakersfieldA 17-year-old boy was injured after a traffic collision involving a mini-bike in Bakersfield on Wednesday night, March 23, 2022.

The accident happened at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Buena Vista Road and Rotherfield Place in Bakersfield.

The teenage boy was traveling southbound on Buena Vista Road in a motorized off-road mini-bike when he crashed into a truck turning left onto Rotherfield Place.

The 17-year-old boy sustained a serious arm injury and was immediately transported to an area hospital for treatment. The truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. He was uninjured in the mishap.
