The accident transpired at approximately 9:22 p.m. on Van Buren Boulevard and Canyon View Drive in Woodcrest.

A pickup truck and a passenger sedan collided on the roadway under unclear circumstances. How the collision occurred and why it happened have not been established.

One of the involved vehicles crashed into a pole following the collision. Bystanders attempted to help the victims before the medical personnel arrived at the scene.
