[03-25-2022] Riverside County, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash in Murrieta Results in Injuries

The Menifee Police Department’s suspect chase culminated in a wreck in Murrieta on Friday morning, March 25, 2022.

The crash occurred before 9:30 a.m. at the junction of Jefferson Avenue and Date Street in Murrieta.

The suspect was driving a white Chevrolet SUV when he collided with a vehicle driving a black BMW car in the junction on the south end of Murrieta.

The suspect was treated on the scene in the back of a Menifee police car, but the male BMW driver declined medical treatment who was helping with the investigation.

There were no additional injuries reported.

The reason for the suspect’s arrest is unknown, and his identity has not been revealed.

Murrieta police and deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department also arrived at the scene, in addition to Menifee officers.

There are no other details available. The crash remains under investigation.
