An unidentified 13-year-old kid was injured following a bicycle crash on Northgate Boulevard on Friday morning, March 25, 2022.
The accident occurred in the area of Northgate Boulevard and Wisconsin Avenue at approximately 7:50 a.m.
A Twin Rivers Unified School District school bus crashed into a 13-year-old bicyclist cycling to school.
The young teen sustained minor injuries in the mishap. The teen was immediately taken to an area hospital for treatment.
No other injuries were reported. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Drugs and alcohol were not considered factors in the accident.
Local authorities are further investigating the cause of the crash.
