Six people were hurt after a major multi-vehicle crash in Fair Oaks on Friday night, March 25, 2022.

[03-25-2022] Sacramento County, CA - Six People Hurt After a Multi-Vehicle Crash in Fair OaksThe collision transpired at approximately 9:00 p.m. in the 4300 block of Hazel Avenue near Winding Way.

A Tesla was speeding and rear-ended a Hyundai. Due to the severity of the impact, the Hyundai then veered off the road and crashed into a pole and a concrete wall.

The Tesla crossed over several lines, veered into oncoming southbound traffic, and collided head-on with a Toyota.

The Toyota driver sustained major injuries, while another driver suffered moderate injuries. The Hyundai driver and two passengers, including a 1-year-old child, were also hurt in the crash.

Authorities later determined that the Tesla driver was under the influence at the crash. The driver was also injured in the mishap and was later arrested by authorities.

Local authorities are further investigating the crash.
