[03-26-2022] San Bernardino County, CA - One Killed, Two Others Hurt After a Head-On Crash in HesperiaOne man was killed while two others were hurt after a fatal head-on crash in Hesperia on early Saturday morning, March 26, 2022.

The accident occurred at approximately 12:44 a.m. on the 14100 block of Ranchero Road, between Topaz Avenue and Tropicana Rose Avenue.

A Chevy pickup truck and a Nissan SUV collided on the roadway for unclear reasons. The Chevy pickup truck sustained extensive front-end damage due to the severity of the impact.

One man was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by emergency personnel. Unfortunately, the trapped man was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The SUV driver and a passenger inside the truck sustained unspecified injuries in the crash and were both taken to a local hospital.

The Hesperia Sheriff’s Station is further investigating the cause of the crash.
