Fatal Pedestrian Accident Investigation

Local authorities are currently investigating the case.

It’s undeniable that pedestrians are indeed more susceptible to accidents in comparison to passengers inside vehicles. Passengers of private cars are protected by seatbelts and airbags, which can decrease the fatality rate of an accident while pedestrians are left unprotected from the dangers on the roadways.

According to the Governors Highway Safety Association, around 6,227 pedestrians were killed in the U.S. in 2018, which was a 250 increase from the previous year. These pedestrian accidents are commonly caused by negligent driving, distracted driving, or failure to avoid incoming pedestrians.

When facing cases like this, it’s essential to have the proper resources to prove the negligence of the guilty party. Having an experienced Yuba wrongful death attorney specializing in fatal pedestrian accident cases conduct an independent investigation can help the victims receive the justice that they deserve.

During the independent investigation, all possible contributing factors such as road conditions, signage visibility, and road lighting must be considered and thoroughly examined.
