An unidentified man was killed while three kids were hurt following a two-vehicle crash in Stockton on Sunday afternoon, March 27, 2022.
The traffic accident transpired at approximately 2:17 p.m. on Highway 99 near Frontage Road in Stockton.
A northbound 2014 Toyota Corolla was traveling on 99 Frontage Road, north of Mosher Drive, when it tried to make a U-turn using a driveway.
A 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck then crashed into the left side of the Toyota. Unfortunately, the Toyota driver was killed in the crash; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, three children inside the Corolla were immediately taken to an area hospital for treatment. Their condition and identities have not been disclosed.
The Dodge driver did not stop to render aid and attempted to drive away from the scene. Authorities were later able to catch the Corolla driver and arrest him.
An active investigation of the case is currently underway.
