[03-29-2022] Riverside County, CA – One Man Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Four Vehicles Near Temecula

According to the California Highway Patrol reports, at least one man was taken to Temecula Valley Hospital with minor injuries on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.

[03-29-2022] Riverside County, CA - One Man Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Four Vehicles Near TemeculaAccording to CHP, the crash occurred just before 1:00 p.m. near 79 South and Vail Lake Resort on Vail Oak Road.

The California Highway Patrol did not issue any citations in the collision, and it is unclear whether alcohol or drugs were a factor.

The exact circumstances of the crash are still unknown.

According to CHP Officer Russ Robertson, a white van, white truck, black Subaru Outback, and Tan Lexus collided in a chain-reaction crash, injuring at least one driver and rendering two of the cars undrivable.

A two-hour Sig Alert was issued as emergency vehicles, and tow trucks made their way to the scene through stalled traffic.

According to Roberston, the roads were reopened by 2:45 p.m.

Eastbound traffic on the 79 South remained heavy from Woodchuck Road to Vail Lake Resort.

Westbound traffic was also heavy from Crosley Truck Trail to Dripping Springs Campground.
