[03-30-2022] Butte County, CA - Two-Vehicle Crash near Chico Injures One PersonOne unidentified person was hurt after a two-vehicle crash in Chico on Wednesday afternoon, March 30, 2022.

The traffic collision transpired at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Highway 99 near Esplanade near Chico.

Two sedans collided on the roadway for unclear reasons. The circumstances leading up to the crash have not been established.

One unidentified person sustained major injuries in the crash and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Information about the crash is limited at the moment. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.

Local authorities are further investigating the case.
