[03-30-2022] San Diego County, CA - 62-Year-Old Man Injured in Pedestrian Accident in Midway AreaLocal authorities reported that a 62-year-old man was struck by a car while crossing a street in San Diego’s Midway District on Wednesday, March 30, 2022.

According to San Diego police Officer Robert H., officers were dispatched at 6:45 p.m. to the 3850 Rosecrans St. area, where they discovered the injured pedestrian.

Investigators determined that the pedestrian was struck by a 46-year-old man driving a Volkswagon sedan northbound as he crossed Rosecrans.

The victim, who has not been publicly identified, was taken to a local hospital with multiple fractures.
According to Heims, his injuries aren’t life-threatening.

There are no other details available.

The Western Division of the department is investigating the crash.
