Officials said one unidentified person was killed in a collision between a car and a semi-truck in Beaumont on Thursday, March 31, 2022.
Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department said the crash occurred around 12:40 p.m. near the Beaumont Avenue off-ramp on westbound Interstate 10.
While the California Highway Patrol investigates the incident, the number 3 and 4 lanes are expected to be closed until at least 3:30 p.m.
I-10 traffic was backed up in both directions. There are no other details available.
The crash remains under investigation.
