According to the California Highway Patrol, one person died in a two-car collision near Mission Hills on Friday, April 1, 2022.

According to the CHP, the identity of the fatally injured person, who died at a hospital, was not immediately available.

There was no immediate word on whether or not there were any other injuries.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash prompted an indefinite SigAlert on westbound state Route 118 to southbound Interstate 405, the Golden State Freeway.

All traffic was diverted from westbound SR-118 to I-5, Santa Ana Freeway.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
