[04-02-2022] San Bernardino County, CA – Two People Killed, Several Others Injured After a Deadly DUI Crash in Rialto

Two people were killed after a deadly collision involving a suspected DUI driver and chase suspect in Rialto on early Saturday morning, April 2, 2022.

Two people were killed after a deadly collision involving a suspected DUI driverThe deadly collision transpired at approximately 1:00 a.m. near Pepper Avenue and the 10 Freeway.

Officers were chasing a gray 2014 Nissan Maxima in Colton. The Maxima was traveling at high speeds.

As the Maxima entered Cedar and Randall avenues, the suspect ran a red light and crashed into a silver 2019 Nissan Sentra before crashing into a home on the 1200 block of West Randall Avenue.

Unfortunately, two people inside the second vehicle were killed in the mishap. They were identified as 31-year-old Aaron M. and 30-year-old Irene J.

Meanwhile, the Maxima driver and passenger sustained moderate injuries and were taken to an area hospital for treatment. The driver was identified as 21-year-old Jose C.

Authorities suspect that the suspect was under the influence at the accident. The Maxima driver will be booked into a San Bernardino jail and charged with murder.
