Two of the five boys were injured in the violent robbery, which is being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department and the Westfield mall on Sunday, April 3, 2022.
The violent attack happened on a Sunday at a Canoga Park Mall.
After three suspects attacked their teenage boys, parents were outraged and demanded action.
The suspects attacked the teenagers while they were in the bathroom. According to another parent, David Leif, one of the teenagers’ heads was slammed into the ground.
The suspects also kicked the teen’s head.
The suspects stole the boys’ phones, jewelry, and IDs before fleeing the scene, in addition to the physical abuse.
In recent months, the mall has been a target of thieves, with an attempted robbery at a jewelry store that resulted in one person being injured and a smash-and-grab robbery at a Nordstrom.
