[04-03-2023] Butte County, CA – Male Cyclist Struck and Injured by Vehicle in Chico

One person was injured and hospitalized after a bicycle collision in Chico on Monday morning, April 3, 2023.

Reports confirmed the crash transpired around 8:00 a.m. between Nord and West Linso Avenue.

According to authorities, the man was riding his bike south and was about to turn east on West Lindo Avenue when a vehicle traveling north on Nord Avenue struck him.

Due to the impact, the male victim was rushed to the hospital after suffering non-life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, the vehicle driver pulled over and was not impaired. Roads were cleared around 8:20 a.m.
