An unidentified person was injured following a pedestrian accident in Victorville on Monday night, April 4, 2022.
The accident transpired at approximately 8:31 p.m. on Hook Boulevard, near Amargosa Road in Victorville.
A black 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee struck a male pedestrian for unclear reasons. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
Emergency personnel later arrived at the scene and found the victim in the westbound lanes of Hook. He was airlifted to a nearby trauma center for treatment.
An active investigation of the mishap is currently underway. Authorities will attempt to determine whether intoxication was a factor in the accident.
