According to the San Rafael Police Department, the collision happened around 12:33 p.m. along Bellam Boulevard near Marin Square Shopping Center.

A 21-year-old motorcyclist named Aryan S. struck an SUV trying to reach a parking spot.

The motorcyclist sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead.

The name of the SUV driver remained undisclosed, and no further details were released.
