[04-05-2023] Shasta County, CA – Five-Vehicle Collision on Highway 273 Left Two People Hospitalized

Two people were rushed to the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in Anderson on Wednesday morning, April 5, 2023.

According to reports, the collision occurred around 9:38 a.m. on Highway 273 near the Ox Yoke Road intersection.

Authorities were notified of the crash involving five vehicles. When responders arrived, they rushed two victims to a hospital. Both individuals did not sustain severe injuries.

The highway’s southbound lanes in the Anderson region were closed for over two hours, and lanes reopened at 12:06 p.m.

Investigations are still ongoing to determine the circumstances of the collision.
