[04-06-2022] Lake County, CA – One Killed, Another Injured After a Head-On Collision on Highway 20

The accident transpired at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Highway 20, near Scotts Valley Road in Upper Lake.

A pickup truck and a sedan collided on the roadway for unclear reasons. The circumstances surrounding the accident have not been established.

One person was killed in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, another person was airlifted to an out-of-county trauma center.

The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. It’s unclear whether intoxication was a factor in the crash.

Local authorities are further investigating the accident.
