According to police, a 57-year-old Gilroy woman was killed in a head-on collision on SR-129 on Wednesday, April 6, 2022.
The accident occurred at 4:18 p.m. on SR-129 west of Old Chittenden Road near Watsonville.
When a Honda Odyssey traveling westbound on SR-129 collided head-on with a Nissan Sentra traveling eastbound.
Following the crash, a westbound Acura Integra collided with the Honda on SR-129.
According to police, the Nissan driver died at the scene as a result of the collision.
Both of the other drivers were taken to the hospital.
The Honda driver is said to have suffered serious injuries.
The Acura’s driver is said to have suffered moderate injuries.
There are no other details available.
The crash remains under investigation.
