[04-07-2022] Fresno County, CA – One Person Killed After a Deadly DUI Crash near Church and Brawley Avenues

An unidentified 60-year-old man was killed after a deadly traffic accident involving a suspected drunk driver near Brawley Avenue on Thursday evening, April 7, 2022.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the crash took place near Church and Brawley Avenues at approximately 6:30 p.m.

A Jeep ran a stop sign and hit a dump truck that a 60-year-old man drove. Due to the severity of the impact, the dump truck crashed into a tree.

Unfortunately, the 60-year-old driver was fatally injured in the mishap and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities later determined that the 22-year-old female Jeep driver was under the influence at the accident. She was arrested for DUI-related charges.

Local authorities are further investigating the case.
