[04-08-2022] Orange County, CA – One Person Killed in a Deadly Car Crash in Santa Ana

One unidentified person was killed following a fatal two-vehicle crash in Santa Ana on early Friday morning, April 8, 2022.

A northbound Dodge Charger was traveling on Main Street at high speed when it collided with a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado at the intersection.

Due to the severity of the impact, the Chevrolet overturned. The Chevrolet driver was killed at the scene.

Meanwhile, the Dodge Charger caught fire following the crash. The Dodge driver and its passenger fled the scene on foot. They were last seen entering a red SUV-type vehicle, police said. The driver was described as a male, approximately 30 to 35 years old and 200 pounds.
