According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 3:15 a.m. along eastbound Interstate Highway 380.

The victim was reportedly walking nearby the El Camino Real off-ramp when a vehicle struck and killed the pedestrian.

Authorities have yet to release more details on the collision.
