An unidentified man was killed when he was struck by a car on Sierra Highway in Palmdale, and the driver failed to stop on Sunday morning, April 10, 2022.
According to Lt. L. Arnold of the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station, the fatal crash occurred at 2:53 a.m. on the northbound Sierra Highway between Technology Drive and Rancho Vista Boulevard.
According to Arnold, paramedics pronounced the man dead on the scene.
Arnold reported that the motorist driving in the opposite direction saw the crash, but no vehicle description was provided.
There are no other details available.
The crash remains under investigation.
