[04-10-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Killed by Hit-And-Run Driver in Exposition Park

A pedestrian died after he was hit by two vehicles in Exposition Park early Sunday morning, April 10, 2022.

It happened at 2:55 a.m. near the Normandie Avenue and West 36th Street intersection.

According to police, one of the drivers fled the scene.

According to Los Angeles Police Department officials, a man in his 30’s was crossing the street when he was struck by a vehicle traveling south on Normandie. That vehicle’s driver fled the scene.

According to police, the man was then struck by a second vehicle. The second vehicle’s driver remained in the area.

The pedestrian was trapped beneath the second vehicle and required firefighter assistance.

Paramedics pronounced him dead after he was freed.

There is no description of the suspect vehicle that hit the pedestrian at this time.

The accident is still being investigated.
