[04-10-2023] Butte County, CA – Two People Injured After Multi-Vehicle Crash Near Chico

A multi-vehicle crash injured two people near Chico on a Monday morning, April 10, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 9:45 a.m. along the westbound Skyway near Lookout Point.

The female driver of a Hyundai struck an embankment after a deer had jumped in front of her car.

A concerned driver stopped to help but got struck from behind by another vehicle.

Two people sustained minor injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital.

The authorities released no further details about the crash.
