[04-11-2022] Riverside County, CA – Woman Fatally Struck by a Train Near Indiana Avenue

An unidentified woman was killed after getting struck by a freight train near Indiana Avenue on Monday morning, April 11, 2022.

The fatal crash occurred at approximately 6:35 a.m. near Indiana Avenue and Madison Street.

A homeless man and the woman were fighting before the accident. The woman was then struck by a BNSF freight train.

The woman was killed in the crash. Meanwhile, the man was detained. Authorities are attempting to determine whether a crime was committed in this case.
