[04-12-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Four People Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash in Hawthorne

Four people were injured following a traffic collision in Hawthorne on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.

According to preliminary information, the crash occurred just before 1:00 a.m. at the intersection of West El Segundo Boulevard and Van Ness Avenue.

Crews were dispatched to the scene after receiving reports of a crash in which three people were trapped.

Responders rescued the three trapped victims as soon as they arrived. Four people were taken to hospitals in the area with unspecified injuries.

The Hawthorne Police Department was handling the investigation. Gardena PD officers assisted Hawthorne PD at the crash scene.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
