Sacramento County Premises Liability Lawyers for Apartment Fire Victims

Premises liability is the legal term for an action in which an injured individual alleges that the owner of the building’s negligence caused them pain and suffering.

In the event of a fire, landlords and building owners have a legal obligation to construct safe buildings for their tenants. They must ensure that their building meets state and municipal fire rules by providing enough emergency exits, smoke detectors, and other fire prevention measures.

If a landlord or building owner fails to take these steps, they are unduly endangering the building’s residents. If you have been hurt due to a building’s poor fire safety safeguards, you should consult with a Sacramento County premises liability lawyer about filing a lawsuit.
