One unidentified person was seriously hurt following a major head-on collision near Bella Vista on Friday afternoon, April 15, 2022.
The collision transpired at approximately 4:06 p.m. on Dry Creek Road, just north of Squaw Grass Trail.
A Nissan Altima and a minivan collided on the roadway for unclear reasons. One of the involved vehicles was initially traveling on the northbound lanes and veered into the southbound lanes for unclear reasons before the crash.
One person sustained serious injuries in the accident. The injured party was immediately taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The California Highway Patrol is further investigating the case.
