[04-15-2023] One Person Hospitalized After Suspected DUI Multi-Vehicle Collision Along Interstate 80 BusinessOne person was hospitalized after a suspected DUI multi-vehicle collision along Interstate 80 Business, Sacramento County, late Saturday night, April 15, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Business 80 near E Street.

Reports say three vehicles were involved, including one car piled on top of another.

Several people were said to be injured, but at least one person was confirmed to have sustained major injuries and had to be transported to a nearby hospital.

This undisclosed person is suspected of driving under the influence of drugs and/ or alcohol.

The authorities have not yet released further details about the collision.
