A bicyclist was injured after getting struck by a vehicle on Highway 154 on Saturday, April 16, 2022.
The crash occurred at 7:30 p.m. in Santa Barbara County, two miles east of the Cachuma Lake Entrance.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the bicyclist, a 37-year-old Burlingame man, was riding westbound on Highway 154 when a vehicle, described as a maroon or burgundy Toyota Scion, traveled onto the highway’s shoulder and collided with him before fleeing the scene.
There are no other details available.
The crash remains under investigation.
