[04-17-2022] Santa Clara County, CA – 19-Year-Old Man Arrested Following Hit-and-Run Collision in San Jose

The San Jose Police arrested a 19-year-old suspected of striking a police officer in a hit-and-run crash as the authorities cracked down on several sideshows in the city early Easter Sunday morning, April 17, 2022.

The police said some of the vehicles drove to the intersection of Story Road and Jackson Avenue, where officers met them.

One of the vehicles involved in the sideshow collided with a supervisor’s patrol car, according to the authorities. While attempting to flee, the suspect collided with a law enforcement officer who was on foot.

The driver was apprehended near the intersection of White and McKee Roads and taken into custody.

Isaac G., 19, of Los Banos, was arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon on an officer, felony hit and run, and possession of a privately made firearm, according to police.

The identities of the other suspects arrested were not immediately known.
