[04-18-2023] El Dorado County, CA – Motorcycle vs. Vehicle Collision Severely Hurt Biker Around Cameron Park

A biker was hospitalized following a motorcycle vs. vehicle collision around Cameron Park, El Dorado County, on Tuesday afternoon, April 18, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Ford Escape and a motorcycle collided near the entrance of the Valero gas station on Green Valley Road east of the Cameron Park Drive intersection at 1:15 p.m.

After the collision, two anonymous bystanders assisted the rider on the side of the road, close to the wrecked bike and the scattered debris.

When first responders arrived, they discovered the biker had cuts, scrapes, and possible severe internal injuries. The wounded individual was taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

The CHP is looking into the accident.
